Master\'s degree in journalism or mass communication from an Indian university with at least 55% or an equivalent grade in a point system, if the grading system is used, foreign university degree holder can also apply but they should have degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject
NET/SLET/SET: As long as candidates who registered for the Ph.D. program before July 11, 2009, are exempt from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for the recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or Fellow, they will be subject to the then-current Ordinances, Bye-laws, or Regulations of the institution awarding the degree.
PhD should be in regular mode fulfilling the following criteria:
- least two external examiners have assessed the doctoral thesis;
- The candidate\'s open Ph.D. viva voce has taken place;
- The candidate\'s doctoral study has resulted in the publication of two research publications, of which at one or more is published in a journal that has been cited;
- Based on their doctoral work, the candidate has presented at least two articles in conferences and seminars supported or funded by the CSIR, ICSSR, UGC, or any comparable
Additional information:
- The management is purely temporary in nature. For the engagement on contractual basis will be paid Rs.40000/- for candidates possessing UGC/CSIR- NET and Rs. 45,000/- for candidates possessing UGC/CSIR-NET along with Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
- Retired teachers, below 65 years can also apply.
